Situated in the undiscovered Moreton Bay waterfront address of Beachmere, the home was suffering from severe land erosion – the result of a failing, poorly constructed sea wall. With a myriad of environmental and administrative hurdles to overcome, a carefully considered rejuvenation of the sea wall paved the way for construction of the project.
A design team guided the reconstruction journey of The Beachmere Project, ensuring it kept with the owner’s vision of creating an oasis, sensitive to the needs of its surrounding environment. Championing the concept of sustainable, eco-conscious living, but still able to provide occupants with everything expected of modern day, urban living. Exhaustive consultation with local councils and environmental protection agencies guided every decision ensuring that construction did not compromise the fragile, eco-sensitive waterfront location.
