Hebel is a lightweight and durable, aerated concrete exterior cladding, 100% manufactured in Australia by CSR Building Products Limited.
The use of Hebel in The Beachmere Project meant that its lightweight nature, reduces the need for heavy machinery and therefore lessening the level of CO2 emissions during construction. Hebel is guaranteed to maintain structural integrity and stability. Panel sizing allows for faster and easier installation when compared with standard bricks. This product is strong and durable, steel reinforced, resistant to corrosion, non-conductible, has outstanding thermal and acoustic qualities to save on heating and cooling cost making it perfect for the harsh coastal environments.
CSR Hebel boasts desired environmental imperatives and has been awarded the ‘Good Environmental Choice Australia Label’ (Heb-2006).
